Woah there Fergie Fer, you may not be pulling this look off in the way that you think you are. But on the other hand, I do like braids and am a bit of an addict myself. It really gets my hair away from me when I’ve had enough of it. Ponytails don’t cut it when I’m annoyed with wind or static, y’know? Whenever I wear a french braid (usually half-way through the day when I’m tired of long bangs in my eyes), at least one girl will ask me who did it for me, and when I say I braided it myself that girl will always say, “I wish I knew how to braid my hair!”
Erin, I’m not sure your stance on braids. My brother kind of hates them though I’m pretty sure he just associates them with my laziness, and my husband waffles: sometimes he thinks I look like a princess and other times I’m too reminiscent of a police officer for his tastes. Ha! But my Brownies always love them… and I can be convinced to braid their hair even though it’s superfine kid hair and is kind of annoying to do without a tailcomb.
